Our guest speaker for August is Monroe Mayor Robert Burns. His topic for the evening is "The Monroe Story: The Battle is Coming to Your Town". In 2023, Robert Burns was elected Mayor of Monroe. He has been driven by a commitment to challenging the status quo and creating lasting, positive change for our community. He started MonroeWorks, connecting local businesses with residents to strengthen our workforce and economy. Despite opposition to my faith and politics, I’ve led Monroe through a transformative term, focusing on safety, prosperity, and responsible leadership. He has lived in Monroe for nearly 30 years. He is married with six children.
These meetings are closed to the general public. Registered Republicans are invited to attend.
