The Cabarrus County Republican Party trusts that everyone has had an excellent summer so far.

With the filing of city and town races now behind us, it is time to get to work supporting our Republican candidates in those races and offer them assistance as they see fit. Here is a list of Republicans and the seats for which they have filed:

As we look toward broadening and diversifying our party, this presentation from the Vice Chair of the North Carolina Frederick Douglass Foundation will help inform our discussions and strategies for growth of our party. Join us as we gain perspective and guidance in considering the possible impact of the FDF in preparation for the 2020 elections! Many Black Americans support President Trump. With Valerie Johnson's presentation we can better understand the role of the FDF going forward.

The Cabarrus County Republican Men would like to invite everyone to come out and hear from our Republican town and city council candidates as they kickoff their campaigns. Breakfast at 8:30am and meeting begins at 9:00am. Everyone is welcome. Men, women, boys, and girls.

July 30th – Executive Committee Meeting 7pm
August 1st – Membership Meeting with/ FDF 7pm
September 3rd – Executive Committee Meeting 7pm
September 5th – Membership Meeting/ City and Town Candidates Forum (Part 1) 7pm
September 6th-14th – Cabarrus County Fair (volunteers will be needed)
September 10th – Watch voter results for the Special Elections in the 3rd and 9th Districts
October 1st Executive Committee Meeting 7pm
October 3rd – Membership Meeting/ City and Town Candidates Forum (Part 2) 7PM
October 16th – First day of Early Voting
October 29th – Last day to request an absentee ballot
November 1st – Last day of Early voting
November 5th – Election Day

Volunteer for RNC 2020

The National Convention will need some 8000 volunteers to make the event successful. Do you wish to volunteer? Go to www.charlottein2020.com and click on "Volunteer."

Committee chairs and committees will be re-established after the upcoming Executive Committee meeting, if you previously served on a committee and wish to still serve on that committee please drop Anita an email to express your interest in doing so. She will be responsible for committee staffing.
