The NCGOP 12th Congressional District Convention will be held on Thursday, April 7th, 2022 at 6:30 PM. Registration will begin at 5:30 PM. The convention will be held at Freedom House Church - Central Campus which is located at 2638 Salome Church Rd., Charlotte, NC 28262.
During the odd year District Convention, we elect leadership for a two-year term. However, with the redistricting, some of the leadership in District 12 and several other Congressional Districts, were drawn into new congressional districts. At this even-year convention, there will be a special election for leadership for a one-year term. This will include a Chairman, Secretary, some Executive Committee members, and General Counsel.
Other things that will take place during the Convention will include updates from the State and County parties within the district (Mecklenburg and Cabarrus). You will also meet candidates running for office.
There is a $20 delegate fee to help offset the cost of the facilities and you can click here to register.
