Republican Second Primary

All registered Republicans are welcome to participate in Early Voting (One-stop absentee voting) for the runoff Primary Election for the office of Lt. Governor and Auditor. Unaffiliated voters who selected a Republican ballot or did not vote in the March primary, are also eligible to vote in the runoff election. Unaffiliated voters who selected other party ballots in the March primary are not eligible to vote in this runoff.

Voters who did not live in Cabarrus County or who are registered with another party as of March 9th, are not permitted to vote in this runoff unless they become eligible to vote for the first time between the primary and second primary. These new eligible voters may participate in same-day registration and vote during the early voting period but no other voters may register to participate in the second primary. new eligible voters may not register and vote on primary election day on May 14th.
