One-stop absentee voting is commonly known as early voting. Early voting allows a registered voter to cast an absentee ballot. This can be done in person on select days before Election Day. You may also drop off your Absentee Mail Ballot in person at the Cabarrus County Board of Elections offices at 369 Church Street or any early voting site in Cabarrus County.

Online voter registration ended on Friday, October 11th, but during early voting, citizens are permitted to update their voter registration or register for the first time and vote on the same day. 

Early Voting sites across Cabarrus County will be open from 8 am to 7:30 pm.

Early Voting will take place at four locations in Cabarrus County:

• Board of Elections Office - 369 Church St. N, Concord, NC 28025
• Cabarrus Arena & Events Center - 451 NC Hwy 49, Concord, NC 28025
• Kannapolis Train Depot - 201 S Main St., Kannapolis, NC 28081
• NC National Guard Armory - 1501 Old Charlotte Rd. SW, Concord, NC 28027

 Any voter who is in line at an early voting site by 7:30 p.m. can vote. The busiest times are early morning and just before the polls close. Avoid longer lines by voting at off-peak times.
