Early Voting
BRING YOUR PHOTO ID!
One-stop absentee voting is commonly known as early voting. Early voting allows a registered voter to cast an absentee ballot. This can be done in person on select days before Election Day. You may also drop off your Absentee Mail Ballot in person at the Cabarrus County Board of Elections offices at 369 Church Street or any early voting site in Cabarrus County.
Online voter registration ends on February 6th, but during early voting, citizens are permitted to update their voter registration or register for the first time and vote on the same day. The last day to request an absentee ballot is Tuesday, February 17th.
Voting Hours and locations are yet to be determined by the Cabarrus County Board of Elections.

Any voter who is in line at an early voting site by 7:00 p.m. can vote. The busiest times are early morning and just before the polls close. Avoid longer lines by voting at off-peak times.
