From the Chairman;
It has been my pleasure to serve as your Cabarrus County GOP Chairman for the past two years. I have decided not to run again for Chairman. I will continue to work hard for the Party.
First, I would like to thank all of the volunteers that helped during the November 2020 election cycle. What a great group of people that, literally, spent thousands of man-hours working on behalf of the Party or for individual candidates. In particular, the staffing of voting place observers and outside poll workers was especially daunting. We prevailed by having observers in every polling location each day for the entire two and half weeks of early voting and on election day. Those efforts paid off and we kept Cabarrus County red! For that, we all should be very proud.
I would also like to thank the Executive Committee and the officers; Anita Brown, Parish Moffitt, and Frank Rush. Your dedication to the GOP and Cabarrus County is incredible. All of your hard work made my job easier.
Finally, I would call for us all to work together in unity going forward. The Republican Party Platform and the Republican policies are timeless and have been proven to work ever since inception. The enemy’s strategy is clearly to seek to divide us. We cannot let them win on that front. We can and will win by continuing to get Republican candidates elected that are committed to supporting the Party platform. That must be our focus going forward.

General Meeting

We are very much aware we are sounding like a broken record at this point. There is no way for us to hold in-person meetings and so once again we are going to cancel the February Membership meeting. We are very aware that other counties are doing meetings; however, average attendance and membership at most of these counties is much smaller than our average meeting attendance.
2021 County Convention and Precinct Meetings
Precinct Meetings Feb 27th
County Convention March 20th
We are going to be doing the Precinct meetings and the county convention on separate dates this year in light of the COVID situation. We are breaking the precincts up into smaller groups. To participate at the County Convention, you must attend your precinct meeting on the 27th or submit an absentee request no later than Feb 26th at 5PM. We will email a link to the request form once it is ready to go out in the next week along with a location for the precinct meetings. Stay tuned to your email for updates.
We will email out and post on social media the planned times for the precinct meetings once they are finalized as well. Your time could be 9:00AM, 10:45AM, 12:30PM, or 2:45PM depending upon your voting precinct.
We plan to host the county convention in person; however, we will make provisions for people to participate remotely and to cast ballots. We are still working out the details; however, plan on the March 20th date.

Online Donations
The Cabarrus County Republican Party is still accepting on-line donations. Even though the 2020 election cycle is finished, we have started the process to raise money for the 2021 municipal and 2022 election cycle to once again bring home a strong victory for the Republicans here in Cabarrus County.
