How Are We Losing the Battle Against Recreational Marijuana

November 6th | Cabarrus County GOP HQ | 7PM

🌿 Today’s THC is not what it used to be — and the fight against recreational marijuana is more urgent than ever.

📢 Did You Know?
• THC levels have skyrocketed since the 1970s — from under 1% to over 15–30% in many strains
• High-potency cannabis is linked to increased risks of psychosis, addiction, and emergency room visits, especially among youth
• North Carolina allows the sale of hemp-derived cannabinoids (Delta-8, THCa) under strict rules, but many dispensary products mislabel their THC content.

🚫 Recreational marijuana is now legal in 24 states, but many communities.  In NC, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) operates its own medical cannabis program and dispensary.
