September 2020 Newsletter
Cabarrus Republicans,
We hope you saw our President give his acceptance speech on Thursday night! Sleepy Joe was only capable of being up on his stage for 22 minutes and some pundits suspect that it was recorded in multiple sessions and stitched together. Our guy spoke for well over an hour. What was the number one comment I read on Twitter from my favorite cry-baby liberals? That the speech was way too long. I think a few of them were up past their bedtimes! And the firework show after… President Trump sure made Governor Cooper sorry he kicked the convention out of North Carolina! We might have had fireworks; but I doubt it would have been that kind of show!
Closer to home, our future Governor has gone on the offensive and is holding multiple rallies every weekend. The judge candidates are zig-zagging across the state and your local and state legislative candidates are zig-zagging across their districts meeting with as many folks as possible. Unfortunately, our political-science based restrictions continue to make this very difficult!
Our GOP office has been open for a few weeks now and we are selling out of merchandise almost weekly. Anytime one of your leadership stops into the office for even just a few minutes, inevitably, several people show up to purchase their Trump gear and get information on other candidates. Currently we are open from 3-6 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will be adding more hours and days VERY soon.
Remember my plea to you from last month? I sure hope you have done item one so far…that is the easy one! You also need to be working on the second item now. Make sure you are telling your friends about the judge races as there are so so pivotal!!! In case you don’t remember my plea and your plan of action here they are again: 1) make a pledge right now to vote either absentee, early, or on election day. There are ZERO excuses for not voting with all these opportunities available. 2) make a pledge to make 6 friends accountable just like I am making you accountable. Tell them about the most important races on the ballot, the State Legislative races and the Judge races…more on that later. 3) Volunteer to help the party out. It doesn’t matter if it is 30 minutes or 30 hours, the party needs YOU. See the volunteer section below for more information
We hear all the time about this being the most important election of our lifetime and I cannot restate that enough here. There are 10 races that are even more important than normal. Your two State Legislative seats and the eight judge seats. We must ensure Republican victories in those 10 seats. We want a clean sweep; but those are by far the MOST important. The Legislature will be tasked with post census redistricting next summer and Democrats in charge of redistricting could result in 10 years of Democrat control of everything in North Carolina. Notice they have gone silent on a non-partisan redistricting commission lately, that is because they think they are going to win and the redistricting commission is no longer good for them!
Once again here is the link for the statewide candidates and the judges so you may share with your friends: https://www.nc.gop/candidates
Finally, our Vice Chairwoman is defiantly on the mend after her accident. She is out of the wheel chair and walking with a walker or cane. It is a little slow getting to where she needs to go and is definitely not running a marathon anytime soon; however, after the extent of her injury and surgery, by the grace of God, I find it impressive that she is doing as well as she is doing. She wants to make sure she is fully ready for this victory in November!

Absentee and voter Registration Information
Many people may have never voted absentee and are looking for instruction on exactly how it works. If you are sitting on the fence of absentee vs in-person voting, go-ahead and request an absentee form. You can always vote in-person and simply destroy your absentee ballot. PLEASE DO NOT VOTE BOTH AS THAT IS THE VERY VOTER FRAUD WE ARE FIGHTING AS A PARTY!
The link below will take you to the form that must be completed and returned to the Board of Elections. Many of your questions will be answered directly on the form and it is self-explanatory.
2020 STATE ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST FORM
The request form may be emailed, faxed, delivered in person, or mailed by the U.S. Postal Service or other designated delivery service (DHL, FedEx, or UPS) to the voter's county board of elections. The request can be sent now through 5pm on October 27th.
