Two Cabarrus Precincts Combined for November

Poplar Tent Presbyterian Voters Will Now Vote at Weddington Hills Elementary

The Cabarrus County Board of Elections announced, pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes 163-128 and 163-132.3, that Precinct 02-10 (Weddington Hills Elementary School) and 02-07 (Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church) will be combined at the Weddington Hills Elementary precinct for the November 2026 election.  All registered voters will be notified of the Election Day polling location change by mail at least 30 days prior to the election. Both precincts fall within the 34th State Senate, 73rd State House and 8th US Congressional districts.
